I prepped the cab and shot it in color after I scuffed it all down and primer sealing anything that wore through the layer of paint or went to bare metal until I ran out of flattener ....

Thanks, Tony!
JSeary - thanks for making my pics so us old folks won’t need a neck brace! Lol! So is there a trick to doing that? If I rotate them for Fordbarn, they are crooked for everything else .... |

Not sure what it is, but I have noticed the iphone photos tend to behave differently.

I got some more painting done - just some pics as a way of an update. Paint came out nice, same as the rest of the truck, but once I took the tape away some of the old paint peeled off with it in multiple places. Fortunately, if I do not include the flattener, I can duplicate the old color of the cab which the interior of the cab still is.
The firewall I just painted satin black - easy to touch up and maintain. All that is left now is the front fenders and the hood to get into color ..... I am still having waaaay too much fun ..... |

Ok - so it looks like every time I reduce the size of a pic in order for the advanced management to accept it, it turns it around on me. So sorry boys .....

Unfortunately there were several spots that when the tape was removed it took off the paint underneath - probably 6-7 places. If my paint is mixed with no flattener, it matches the interior as that is how it was painted by my buddy when he did the cab for me. Just waiting on a small touch up spray gun to get these spots ...
There is one spot pictured in my previous post and here are three more .... It’s all part of the fun, right?! Lol! |
