Are there any manufacturer's that make these wheels? Looking for the 10-1/4 bolt spacing. If not, where is a good place to buy used? I need a pair.

I know there are wider versions out there in the circle track arena but Do not think anyone is repopping them. You will find them at swap meets - just make sure you test to see if they as close to round as possible.

Hi; I occasionally buy beater wheels and drill out the 17 rivits and then cut the rim to release the center. Then I can sell the centers for $20 @ at a Swap to fellows who send them to a custom wheel shop for modern rim to be installed. Have seen a '37 with 15" modern rims on the original centers. Circle track rims start at 8" wide and are made for 5/8" studs, oversize lug nuts are available for the 1/2' studs. See the avatar on HAMB. Note; I use the old cut rims as garden hose hangers! Newc

Hey Tim.
Here's how you find them: Craigslist. Took me 2 minutes. They are in Mooresville north of Charlotte. The ad says one wheel, the actual listing body says he found another. Take a look. Here is a picture and the listing. I have no connection, but I can find stuff! Good luck, Tony Martino post id: 7059498566 Craigslist Charlotte NC

There is a thread on the H.A.M.B. about using wide five centers with a Honda wheel to get a wider rim.
If you want stock, they are everywhere, I’ll bet I have 20 of them lying around. |

Stock wheels ought to be relatively easy to scare up. Mart. |

I was thinking of using these as well, but isn't the issue finding decent hubs?

Sorry, that's hat I meant. Someone has been trying to sell a nice set of 4 wheels for over a year now for only CAN$250. Problem is he is 6 hrs away one way. I didn't look hard at Hershet this year, but I didn't recall any jumping out at me. That is the brake drums.

Try to find anyone who can balance these wheels. I have yet to find anyone around here who can balance them. ( Anchorage, Palmer, Alaska ) I am going to make up an adapter out of an old hub when the weather warms up, and I can get into the conex when the snow melts.

I actually have these on my current truck project. One of them needs replacing and I need one for the spare tire mount.
I called locally to get mine blasted and powder coated and was quoted $125 per wheel. I thought at that price that maybe someone was repopping these for possibly a similar price. Thus my original post. Thanks everyone.

Yes the studs are 5/8.I failed to mention that .I bought their lug nuts also.In fact I had them on all 4 wheels on my 36 coupe as I had a 4.5" late Ford bolt pattern and wanted to run the wide 5 wheels. All 4 of my wheels balanced out fine..I think Spadaro used to make that adapter out of aluminum for that purpose but he is long gone. |

Are we talking about the same adapters here? The Speedway units are for 6 pin sprint wheels.

The one I mentioned was not intended to mount on the car(I should have said that-my mistake) but to use it for balancing purposes only. Here is a link on EBAY for one that has the 4.5 & 4.75 pattern. If you bring that page all the way up on the link there is feedback by those who have used them as I did. Speedway makes it clear that they are not intended for street use but at the time I had no other option https://www.ebay.com/itm/Speedway-Mo...4AAOSwS3xdFzAW Last edited by deuce lover; 02-07-2020 at 03:04 PM. |

Hi again: I use a speedway/jegs adapter and the Ford wheels fit the 5/8" lugs!
