In Cold, Snowy, and windy Michigan-USA, fuel (regular no lead-10% booze) is $3.489 (USD) a gallon. Up more than a $1.00 from this time last year! I know, we should be glad we are not paying what you folks are, but still seems to be a big rip off by oil companies. Prices here can go up or down as much as $.10 a day. No matter what the price, I will still put 9.5 gallons of gas in the A and drive down the road with a very large smile on my face.

Try 4.07 for mid grade/89. per the owners manual I have to put in 92 because of the turbo-ouch. I am scared to what they will dream up for a price in the summer.

Jeepers Derek.... fuel prices wont worry a wealthy man man like you will they?
![]() (I read you're a wealthy man on the interweb thingy so it must be true... )Our erstwhile gubmint in its infinite wisdom takes about 55 cents in excise tax and another 5c in a ?? tax per litre. B******s! According to my rough calculations NZ$2.19 per litre is about US$5.70 per US gallon. |
