After doing hundreds of the helmet type distributors every now and then we get something a little different etc.
This one has a 11 cast into the housing, its a early three hole core and came off a car direct from a customer. The shaft and weights are marked 40B. Pics below oops......

Jim I believe the 11- is nothing more than a casting batch number. I have some NOS. Housings that all have 21- marked the same as the one you photographed

Yes thats more than likely it , just hadnt ever seen one out of the hundreds we have done???
