I believe that is correct. Ford US stamped some of the blocks for the RHD & LHD cars sent to Sth America with AF & also the Ford script. This had something to do with export requirements in the US.


Also, Ford Canada also could provide the small bore engine but I do not yet know whether they cast their own or used the Cork engines for S.B.
Canada export records show SB cars sent to Singapore & the odd East African country. It was only a small amount of vehicles, so I would guess they used the Cork engine.
