Keith, I well know your feelings since I too lost my love of 44 years on October 5, 2018. As Don/Norfolk said - Do one day at a time and dewell on all those happy memories we had all those years. My best regard to you and your family. Jim Langley...

Keith
What can you say-I know form personal experience that there is nothing that you can be told that makes it ok but but it helps a little to know that others care and are thinking of you -and I am -Karl

Keith,I am no gooroo, but IMHO you should focus more on the time you had with her than the fact that she is now gone. 65 years together means it was a remarkable marriage and the time you had together should be celebrated, not ignored due to the current situation. Focus on the positive and remind yourself every day what a lucky man you are to have been able to have that kind of partnership. |

My condolences to you also Keith, I just lost my wife in August after 61 years in a stairway fall and it is tough I know and all of a sudden you feel all alone. To make things worse I lost my cousin 3 weeks ago, we emailed each other several times a week for the last 10 years.
Good luck and take it a day at a time. Barry |

I'm so sorry for your loss. To be married 65-years is something to be very proud of.
I did the math, 65-years ago was 1953. The last year of the flathead V8. It sounds like you had the best wife and a wonderful era to have gotten married. What a great time that must have been. |
