Default Re: 1936 flathead water pumps??????

The right hand pump with a access port was very handy to hook up a hot water heater, in lieu of into the upper hose on the '36 and earlier vehicles.
I know that Ford did not offer a hot water heater in their cars until 1938-39, however, many people found the manifold heaters and/or gas heaters, (Southwind) to be somewhat useless..
My '36 cpe had a 38-39 heater in it when I bought the car in 1952. There is no evidence on the firewall that the car ever had anything but a Ford hot water heater in the car.
