Hey guys picked up a local car someone gave up on after 15 year build.

I like it, but I think the die hard flathead people won't. If you want affordable power and don't care about the brand, it's hard to beat a small block Chevy.

Jeff...........Johnnyford probably feels a little like I do. My Ford is mostly stock on the outside but has modern running gear underneath. I dont belong with purist flathead guys and I dont belong on this site but I do believe we are all car guys with knowledge that can be shared. Am I wrong?

I would not pay to much attention to the hard case purists that seem to think it is their duty to challenge any comments that are not model/year correct.
If you are looking for parts and/or advise about repairs, etc., to your '36 the '32-53 forum will most likely produce the best results.
