Default '36 Headlight Lock Washer

The two mounting bolts for the headlights on my '36 are 11/16 diameter. I'd like to get the correct 11/16" split lock washers for them, but nobody seems to carry them. I've tried parts old Ford suppliers such as MAC'S, C&G, Ray Nacewicz, etc., as well as Fastenal, McMaster-Carr, etc. - nothing.

Does anyone know a supplier for these lock washers ?

Thanks,
-Bob

Maybe you could make your own by cutting one side of a flat washer and bend it in the correct direction. Just a thought.

18 mm is a little larger ---or even a 3/4, cut a little off one end and close it to size in a vice

If you mean 11/16 inside diameter I have 1 extra as pictured, wish I had 2 for you. Have 2 extra nuts though.

It's possible that someone like Little Dearborn, barnfind08, the V8 Shop in CA, or the guy that used to work at Joblot and opened his own business might have one. I may even have a used one that I would let go, but would need to check.

Did you try Roy Nacewicz at fordbolts.com?

Bob C:

Right on the money. I looked through the MAC'S catalog and never saw them.
Thanks,
