Please give me motor number and body stlye

Please can I see engine number year of car, truck, or just a motor number running or not. And body style. Mine is a 1929 AA CCPU 188-A being restored. motor number is AA 1955916, number on gas tank 8 1 29. Sorry don't have cab off to tell frame nuber.

He is trying to "collect" data on existing A's and AA's. Claims to be making some kind of registry. He has started the same thread on the AA forum website three times in the last week. Not sure if he's legit or fishing for title info. At any rate posting that kind of info where anyone can see it is dangerous, too many title scams going on out there. There is no such thing as a 1929 AA Closed Cab Pickup 188-A!

The designation of "Pickup" is reffering to the 78-A or B body BEHIND the cab weather it be a Closed Cab or Open Cab and only for the "A" Commercial vehicles.

What you have is a 1929 Closed Cab AA (Truck) with an 88-A Platform Body using 188-A Stake Racks.

You can go to the MAFFI site and get tons of the type of information you are looking for.
