I posted a photo a week ago of a flathead Ardun conversion at a local car museum nearby me. Here is the dyno run video. Too short but pretty cool.

Fantastic numbers ... curious - are Ardun conversions actually not considered flatheads?? I thing SCTA Bonneville has them as a different class that does not compete against a flathead??

Yeah, but your engine likely doesn't have all of the extra engineering, parts, and work that went into this Schnell-built engine.

It was built by Rick Schnell here in Minnesota. Its based on a 1951 Merc block. Here is another view. The thing is so shiny its hard to photograph.
