Model B 4 cyl water pump?

OK. The pump that I got leaks more than I can live with. I ordered the rebuild kit from renners, he was very nice. Has anyone here rebuilt these before that can walk me through it? The instructions aren't very clear. Any special tools required? looks like most people recommend drilling and pinning the impeller? I have a press and a drill press. Any other tricks? I was a mechanic for years, just never done one of these.
