i bought a headliner kit, plus door panels and kick panels from Quitride. they are made out of abs plastic . it came in a glossy black. i think i paid about 400 bucks for it a few years ago. the head liner was hard to put in, it had to be trimmed to fit. one thing i did not have was help. and take out the seat. all the outher parts had to be trimmed a little bit also. oh, i got door panels also, it came in a kit

I put in one of the cardboard kits from Mac's in my '39. Not all that difficult to install but its a 2 person job for the headliner. Instructions were understandable. All in all I'm happy with it but then my p/u is just a driver.

I have the whole interior kit from QuietRide just as Brendan described. Will be installing in a couple months when it not freezing here in the Chicago area. No heat in garage.

I have done the fabric stretch-and-glue headliners in 1960's Mustangs, so I don't anticipate any problem doing this one with the hardshell ABS liner.

My son owns the Patent 37 Pick Up. 3rd owner and I brought it home for Lee when he bought it. He was the founder of LeBaron Bonney co.

Thanks for the link. I hate when they don't show pics. Do you have any pics of what you purchased? Thanks.

I think if you call Quietride they will send you a sample of the material. Much better than a photo. I know they hand out samples at car shows and swap meets.

I just put in a kit from Mac's in my 39 pickup. The headliner fit very well after a couple of hours wrestling it around. I had parts of the original one and their replacement was spot on as for the material and stitching, the color was very close also.
