Hey Guys, What have any of you done to replace the 39` clutch and brake pedal bushings? None of the reproduction dealers have them. I was thinking of getting a piece of copper pipe and have it machined to the correct ID & OD dimensions. Thanks

I don't think copper is such good idea. If you know anyone with a lathe and a bit of
savvy perhaps they could do the job using the correct bronze bushing material. Don't be surprised if you discover excessive shaft wear and pedal bushings worn thru to the steel and beyond. Been there. Failing the above I'll take the job, PM me if you wish. Charlie ny |

You should be able to go to your local bearing supply house (if you have one) near by, & they should have bronze bushing material in stock. They might have the correct size if the dimensions you need are a nominal size. Also check Grainger & McMaster & Carr.
