I know the Standards call for long grain even though LeBaron-Bonney's long grain does not match the original perfectly.
I have seen Tudors with short grain installed and to me it looked closer to the (very leaky) original factory fabric that was on our last Tudor.
I used the Short Grain Fabric. Personally, I like the looks of it better. Even though I do not plan to have the car judged, LeBaron Bonney said either was acceptable.
