More Power Valve Questions

I removed the 1" spacer and installed the 49 jets, better but not right. Installed an electric pump and noticed my fuel pressure gauge was suddenly intermittent. This lead me to the pressure regulator and when bypassed truck starts and drives well, still needs some tweaks. So I had excessive fuel leaking from the power valve and intermittent fuel starvation from the pressure regulator. I hope the remaining adjustments will be easier. I don't have a theory for why the larger jets were helping under no-load.
