Glad to hear it, I have only purchased a few books from you so far, as I don't have a flathead car yet, but service was excellent, and I was very happy with my purchase.

I'm sure Shelly deserves any promotion she gets.

Hi Everyone. Just checking, but is there something above "Bosses Wife" because I'm not aware of it?

Somehow, I rather doubt that the addition of more help will make life easier for Shelly. She does agree with her Queen of Shipping title but she might abdicate that throne if the pile of orders gets taller than she is. Besides, if ANYTHING bad happens in our IT department, Rick and I will be useless bumps on logs until she straightens things out. So, it's very important to keep the shipping queen happy

Shelly, Mac, and crew - all of this is good news of course and I along with many others are very happy for y'all. Although most of what I am building at the present time is not exactly in the "stock" arena, I do have a couple flatheads I am gearing up to put together at some point and I know who to call for what I will be needing!
All the best to you both ...... |

Just in time!!! Joblot is gone, and little Dearborn, C&G is still there but the knowledgeable first generation is gone, and we are left with a rabble that is more and more streetrod oriented, and of course Drake, well intentioned but always a bit off-kilter...
MVP actually knows his Fords, is generous with information (See his site!), and we know him online. This is absolutely great news. |

I also have to add my "congrats" to everyone at VanPelt Sales! I've spoken to Mac a number of times as I've rebuilt my '34 tranny and differential. During that time, Mac has always been extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. It's fantastic to see that his knowledge and demeanor are being rewarded.

Whew! What a day......phones ringing off the hook. Rick listened in with me during morning calls, but we had to throw him onto some calls in the afternoon. He did great considering all he'll have to learn. Mopping our brows tonight and back at it tomorrow.

It is great to see you Shelly and Mac have expanded your business and are doing well, I remember you Shelly from the old site which you used to run with vigor and one year you showed a photo of our 1932 -3W Ford plus a lot of other members cars on the yearly Ford Barn calendar which I have on display here in New Zealand. Did you ever come across any 1934 V8 roadsters which you were interested in at one time.
