It isn't real clear why I want one of these cars. They have been a fascination since the summer of '65. I first saw one for sale in Dumas TX while on the wheat harvest. A Del Rio wagon with the that motor would be my first choice, a two door hardtop would be my second. Two really nice hardtops have presented their self in the last few months but. Not wanting to pay the price for a car retored to stock I guess I'll need dead in the water or project status. Must be H engine code '58

Maybe I need to be more specific, nobody has a hardtop so I'll throw this out. A '58 Del Rio in complete condition. Must be H engine code, top of the "I would like to have list" black and white. VINTAGE AIR already installed would be sweet! New rack & pinion kit already installed along with disc brakes would also be acceptable.

The first letter in the VIN being H identifies '58s as being produced with the "then" new FE 352 Interceptor. Not a Y block.

Hi Ira, this is the only photo I have right now, I'd have to look for some old photo albums to see if I had any more,But I don't think so. If you right click on this photo, you could put it in your pictures. The original color is light blue and white, that's the way it came from the assembly line. I bought it second hand at the Ford Dealer in White Plains,NY,around 1962 ? It was a trade in. It had the interceptor engine. But the dealer isn't there anymore.
