Ianrhall Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Posts: 253	Radiator expansion tank The rad on my 53 v8 has an aftermarket plastic expansion bottle connected to the overflow pipe. I managed to loose the cap for it today😕 Thinking of either removing the bottle or perhaps fitting something neater. What is the idea of that bottle? Has 2 markings, hot and cold Ian
