Default Shout out to C&G and the USPS

My first choice for parts is C&G in California. Their delivery service is fantastic!! I just ordered a part on Monday morning and had it in my hands in Eastern PA Wednesday afternoon. Just the regular USPS shipping - I always choose lowest cost. However/Whatever they do it's great!!

I also have had good experiences with C&G, their shipping is always quick. Also got a call from them wishing me a Merry Christmas and thanking me for doing business with them.

Over at this end of the country, I have been really pleased with Joe's Antique Auto Parts in Uxbridge, MA. They also send USPS, my first choice every time. In fact, I ordered a tailpipe for the 40 and all they had to do was put a mailing label on it, protect the two ends and ship it off. Cost was around $11.00. I'm not very far from them so one day delivery is the norm. Can't beat that.

C&G is good to deal with and their website is easy to order. I also get very quick shipping from Mac Vanpelt.

I also have been using C&G. Was in Ca. when I first started buying parts 17 years ago. Now in Ohio and still get outstanding service. Their reps are very knowledgable.

Ditto, Joe's Antique Auto Parts in Uxbridge,Ma
A pleasure to do business with, conscious of shipping costs. Packaging not bigger or heavier than they need to be, and then ship then ship best way. I have tried them all and Joe's , C&G, and Joblot are the best

I always try to ship as much as possible USPS Priority. East and West coast from Nebraska usually 2 days. North and South for some reason takes 3-4 days?

I found C&G by mistake 18yrs ago after dealing with Drake and Carpenter on a previous build (not that I'm bitching about them). With them being West Coast and me being in the Pacific it made sense to use them. I was impressed with the service first time and am still impressed today. They once sent me the wrong part that was actually labbled wrong! It was only a $8 US bit and they sent me the correct part straight away. They didn't "quibble" about wanting the wrong part returned, but I returned it at my cost and the shipping was probably more than the part was worth but I did it as a show of "goodwill" for all the great service I have had over the years. Kyle and his team are "magic" in my books.

After reading all the good things I decided to place a order on Monday here on the east coast of Va.
Wednesday at 10 am parts are here! I'm working on a 41 tonner and wondered who to buy from?
This is my 1st flathead. Thanks

Being as how you are on the east coast you might want to consider Joe's Antique Auto as well. I think you will be as happy and might get the parts for less shipping and a day or so faster. JMO.
