Per the manual it can be removed.
Hoist vehicle and drain lubricant. Remove Seat cushion and floor plate Place support under the rear of the engine Disconnect drive shaft Remove any linkage connected to transmission Disconnect clutch equalizer shaft Disconnect speedometer cable Disconnect transmission at engine rear support and at the bellhousing Pull transmission the rear until spline shaft is clear of the clutch Lift transmission through the opening in the floor. I've never done it, that is just from the manual! |
