Default clock repair/restoration

My 1939 clock needs to be repaired mechanicaly ( I'm guessing the main spring) and cosmeticly. Many vendors advertise clock repairs. Any recommendations based on clock repairs you've had done. Thanks in advance.

I had the 57 bird clock worked on by the clock works twice & it still don't work. Looked like a gorilla worked on it. I can't reccommend that outfit. They did refund some monies & said they will call it quits but I'm still out money & a non-op clock.

Try www.williamsons.com. They do repair and cosmetics. If you want a quartz movement they can do that. I had two clock converted to quartz by them and both run perfectly.
