What drove you towards the Model A hobby?

I was looking for parts for a 51 Dodge 36 years ago in the back field at a farm, when my Dad and I saw something shining through a clump of Cedar trees at the edge of the field. Went in to investigate and found a 30 Tudor. Went to ask if it was for sale. It was the fellows son's car. Went and found the son at his house, made the deal, brought the car home and been hooked ever since. I was 16 at the time.
