I recently acquired a side bowl carburetor. The top of the carburetor with the side bowl filter is on a Zenith-2 base. Were these side bowls carburetor produced as a Zenith-2 or Zenith-3.

Hello Keith--Could you provide a front and back pictures of your side bowl carburetor top and bottom castings? Then I could tell you if they are correctly matched or not.

Thank you Keith for the pictures. It is a correctly mated Holley side bowl carburetor. Both the bottom and top casting are correct. Holley made only one variety, used with the introduction of the indented firewall vehicles, from April 1931 to end of production. Zenith made 3 varieties of the side bowl carb during that same period.
