There are different thicknesses of tape. To determine what is correct for your project, measure the thickness of the glass (G), then the width of the channel (C).
Subtract the thickness of the glass from the width of the channel. Divide that result in half.

C-G / 2 = tape thickness.

Measure accurately. A micrometer on the glass is good. The end of a drill bit that fit nicely in the channel works well.

The channel MUST be super clean.

Use glass cleaner (spray) when installing the glass w / tape. It's slippery and dries out and will not later suds when it gets wet.
