Thanks Glen. Actually my points are like shown but a separate copper strip, is sandwiched on the brass post with 2 tails, one to each point set. The brass post I am referring to, is the one attached with rivets to the contact mounting plate. The pic you sent is a great repair to the hot lead post. The hot lead post screws into the distrib and has a spring loaded contact that feeds power to the brass post which contains the copper strip.
