The threaded nipple fits an FL-820-S filter, It is too large to fit the FL-1A filter
(I tried both filters) The nipple will not fit the 90 degree adapter it came with. I tried both ends. The filter pictured is a Purolator equivalent to the FL-820-S.
Besides I think the adapter would hold the filter too close to the block and interfere with the oil drain back tube.
