Default Re: Half-Track Ford Trucks

The tan half-track in Post 22 and 26 is a 1931 C4 based Citroën P17C Kégresse.

I believe the 1936 Ford Model 51 half-track purchased by the Canadian army was modified by Cunningham using tracks and equipment developed by Cletrac. I don't have positive proof of this, but some circumstantial evidence.

Marmon-Herrington also got involved with modifying the same trucks in 1935 with front wheel drive. In 1936 Marmon-Herrington developed their own front wheel drive Ford half-track truck. I suppose none of these designs ever made it past the trials.
