Not to derail, but were you asking the difference between 28/29 and 30/31 buckets, or the difference between 2-bulb and 3-bulb?

3 bulb??

The reflector would determine if it is 1 or 2 bulb, regardless of bucket.

Master - You are correct, of course. One or two bulb, two or three wire. Count on me to get that one messed up.
