Katy and Y-blockhead, by saying the Logolite self-contained LED system does not use the reflector, I mean the reflector is not employed in the optical system. The Logolite plugs into the stock receptacle just like the stock incandescent bulb. All the stock components stay exactly where they were to begin with- except the incandescent bulb which the Logolite replaces. And now thinking about it, I realize the Logolite sends its light beam through the Ford headlight lens, so it’s true that one part of the original optical system is still utilized.
