Bushing dropped out of crab distributor?

I haven't had my ring off in ages. Lately, I've played with it and it felt as if I'd never get it off. Anyway, after reading the horror stories above, I used some liquid soap and water and worked on it until it finally got over my fat knuckle. It's now safe in my jewelry box on the dresser. I guess I'm going to have to start taking off my watch too!
