I have to agree with you. Sometimes Canadian market cars/trucks were just a bit prettier or fancier than the American versions. But they sometimes didn't have the broad scope of options, either. I might be in the minority, but I love the looks of the '58 Ford. However, I'd say the grille on the American version was one of weaker styling elements on the car. It kind of looks like something a hot rodder made, which can be good or bad depending on your perspective.
