raybee...You are correct. The 35/6 are not the same length and are not the same shape in the front as the 37. In 1937 there was what I suspect are an early and a late for the passenger side. At some point Ford added a drain hole when the battery was relocated to the firewall for model year 1937. I have had passenger side inner fender panels both with and without the drain hole and no, the hole was not filled.
