Another of my wondering's why. I have been accused of going to 12vts by my friends,
nope 6vts pos grd. just bump the button its running. so we need these radios and
other foolish stuff. I put a 12 volt garden tractor batt. in the trunk ran the wires under
the seat floor mats to run a radio glove compartment. These electronics today use very
little juice. Now charge phones listen to tunes plus a scanner. Maybe almost a year before I put the trickle charger on the battery . Also a plus, a solonoid from this 12vt to the 6vt. with a button I can jump the 6vt battery if dead..My feed is 10 gauge wire in witch only used for a moment..
