Default Re: 1955 Ford wagon tail gate seal

My '55 Courier wagon has a back door rather than a tailgate and lift window, BUT, I intentionally left off any seal at the bottom of the door so that the little open slot would relieve some cabin pressure as I went flying down the highway with the driver and passenger door windows open. Water can't get in there anyway unless somehow the laws of physics were defied, allowing rain water to run uphill. Right?
