I have an ignition key handy for a '55 Ford, and it is slotted on the opposite side of the one you have pictured. So all I can say is that your keys pictured are NOT for a '55 Ford ignition switch.

you are a great person for this site bur if you mean the slot on one side of key.that is the narrow one the other side has a wider one
