There were two 'gurus' of the Ford Model T, A & V-8, who were closely connected to the Ford Motor Company but worked/wrote independently from Ford.

One was Murray Fahnestock, the other was Victor Page. Both of these early 'gurus' wrote extensively and in detail about the operation, maintenance and repair of the Ford automobiles. There writings were directed at the owners of the cars, rather than the Service Field - garage mechanics. That is one of the main differences between these two writers and the FORD SERVICE BULLETIN.
