No big secret. It is probably Mobil 600w, iso 460 or iso 680. All will work. The iso oils are better in that they have additives.

Funny old myths about what it was like in the good old days. When the refinery where I worked installed a unit to hydrotreat heavy lube oil and started delivering higher quality hydrotreated oils with the key properties the same or better, customers complained it wasn't the same old dark stuff anymore. It looked more like honey. I want my Maypo!
