You will find syringe locked up very shortly with patroleum product in it, the rubber in plunger swells and it will be useless..only syringe useable for patroium products is total glass ones used for Arterial draws..

I have an ordinary syringe filled with 90wt, have used it over 5 years, yes the rubber swells some but if you use a blow gun to push the plunger out , fill it, stuff it back in it will work, I use it to inject oil into squeaking sealed ball joints---
