Hi
Story in brief, I shipped a '36 pickup to the UK earlier this year which arrived with a worn/damaged 4 speed truck trans. Managed to find a '36 3 speed over here which I collected today. However as we all know nothing is straight forward and I need advice on a couple of problems as follows; 1. Trans was from a right hand drive car so I need to flip the clutch cross shaft around. How do I remove pin in centre of shaft (pic below) 2. Seems to be some damage to teeth/gears (pics below) when I removed shifter housing. Is this likely to cause me problems? Any advice much appreciated as this is my first flathead and my knowledge is limited. Thanks in advance. Keith |
