Sponge packed around top of oil filler tube ?
I recently purchased a Cabriolet and there is a yellow sponge on top of the oil tube spout under the cap. It looks manufactured and is about one inch in diameter. The motor runs very well and there does not seem to be fumes or smoke comming out of the tube when sitting in the driveway idling. Ideas please and is there something I should do ? Do I have a problem ? Thanks Wayne
