Default Re: Fuel gauge float question

I had the same experience Don describes with the aluminum tool. My local store only had the aluminum one so I bought it. I spent about 30 minutes grinding and filing it. It then worked great.

Multiple people said to use the cork gaskets. My kit came with the neoprene ones. Is the issue the gas eating away at the neoprene?
