So bringing home a new to me 1953 Ford F100 Panel....i made a terrible shift from first into (you guessed it) Reverse...the truck bucked and jerk before i could remedy my error.
Had it towed home the shifter has no movement feels like stuck in R but truck stalls when clutch is out the driver allowed me to disconnect rear of driveshaft so to roll off i disconnected the linkage the forward most shift ta b has some movement - but even with someone in car pressing the clutch i cannot get it to travel thru gears the rear really has no movement driveshaft has no rotation, nor "wiggle" any thoughts are greatly appreciated |
