Finally got around to pulling my 37sedan gas tank. Was expecting a big job but only took about an hour laying on my back. I have duel exaust so had to pull the very back pipe hangers. Have an early model so tank came out with threaded pipe in place. Just pushed the tank hard to the drivers side and it fell off the frame. Question is does the tank get painted black? Will get new tank from Joe’s Antique Auto in Uxbridge Ma. Will report when I try to reinstall the new tank. Regards,Don
