Default 1940 Ford anti chatter rods?

Today ,I've been crawling under the coupe trying to see if Ive got the anti chatter rods fitted. The car is RHD and I can see the passenger side rod but no sign of one on the drivers side.the exhaust, starter, pedals, and gear linkages are all crammed into the area where the rod should be and I really can't see how one could fit.

Was only one rod fitted?or can someone provide a good clear photo of the set up....I realise that the RHD issue complicates things somewhat due to the starter and pedals etc or on that side, whereas the LHD will have more clearance having the pedals on the opposite side to the starter.

The car drives real nice but judders when changing down from third to second and it bugs me, not to mention it will not be doing the clutch and components any favours either.

TIA....
