My Dad bought my '40 for me in 1968 for $50.00. I got married in 1970. I still have both.

I got my 40 in 1975 and it took me 2 years to rebuild it and I still have it. I got my 39 in 1989 and I hope I can get it on the road next spring.

Dad bought our '47 in 1959 for $100.00 and we've had it ever since. Before we got it it had been repainted black and red. The red had faded to orange. We called it "the Halloween Car." Here's dad standing by it in 1966. He's 86 now and still enjoys riding in it. (Doesn't drive any more.)

Picked up the 35 in 1969 from an old fashioned junk yard for $100, drove it back the next day to show that it did run, restored it in 75, been 32 years and still around.

I made a pattern with Heavy Weight Paper and had it made by an Upholsterer from Mercedes Benz Top Material as I do not Sew,the Car is a one off , so nothing is available to fit my needs. see my build pics below

This 35 was given to my father when he got back from WW11. My parents used it on there honeymoon and a few years after, then it got replaced and parked in my grandma's barn. My Dad and I worked on it off and on for years. About 5 yrs ago I started over again, I am making slow progress, still interior to do, my Grandson helps me some times,it will probably be his some day. I think that makes 64 yrs in our family
