Default 37 flatbed pickup question

I finally got around to changing the wood on my flatbed frame risers and I just noticed the rather inconspicuous threaded holes in the bed within the fender cutouts. Any idea what might have went there or could it be aftermarket? One has been filled partially.

Can you post a few pictures? It's hard for me to figure out without being able to see something. Thanks.

It might have been eye bolts that were around the bed. I will look at the bed I have and see if it has that.

My "39 had several unused holes. I believe the fenders were not correct.

I looked at my bed, there are two cage nuts on either side of the bed in the fender recess area. They don't have anything to do with the fender attachment. Not sure why they are there?

Wait.... There where Eye bolts around the bed? Can we start a thread all about the eccentricities of the 37 1/2 ton flatbed?

And yes, it was the two cage nuts and the photos I took in the forum didn't post..... Lost to the ether
