I am trying to figure out which way to install the weather seal on the trunk of my 50 ford.

Unless my eyes are fooling me both diagrams are the same re: trunk seal install. Flatside glued to tunk lid with curved tip pointing toward car exterior.

It appears to me that the first picture, the curved part points to the inside of the car and the second picture shows the curved part pointing to the outside of the car.
