Thanks ,
Some clarification is needed here .

Mike passed in 2015 and I bought " ole blue " from Mike jr in 2019 .

Mike was a friend - not my dad .

As anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Mike knows he was a very likeable guy and quite a character .

I am not on Mikes level but I have been entrusted with his 34 and will post news of it occasionally so his other friends can keep tabs on the old gal .

Lost access to my old email so my old ID is dead.

Most notable change to Mikes car is a nice set of original paint wheels.
Will be putting them on this spring.

Had to adjust the brakes again but all is good other than that.

Last pic is my favorite "Mikey" pic.

Mike has been gone 11 years now.
I still consider the 34 tub his.
I also still consider him a friend.
Thought others here did also.

Mike himself posted the girl pic.
Anyone that ever had the pleasure of riding around with him knows girls were his favorite scenery.
The a-hoogah harn got honked a lot driving down A1A beachside.

Mike is still and always will be a friend and I respect his choice of scenery.
Looks pretty happy to me and that is the Mike I will always remember.

That sure is a beautiful car. I never did get up to visit you and the 34 tub, and now am 600 miles south. Nearly dead center of Kansas, and the continental USA. I'll get up to visit sometime. What wheels are on it now, 16" ers?

Original wheels Milke painted years ago.
Will use them on the roadster.

How you doing on your roadster?
Leg 100%?

Was just in SW Iowa picking up a nice 68 SS396 El Camino.

Well said... And, for the record, more than a few of us Ford Barners also have Ah-Oogah Horns.

Sold the 34 tudor and the 34 roadster to make the move south. Sad, but I just had too much stuff and not enough bldgs at the new dump. Still have the 34 3w.

Alan, hope all is well and thanks
BTW I am fond of that type scenery myself.
The boss sorta tolerates it if not obvious.

Clayton, hope all is well
Wasn't the 34 3w the apple of your eye anyway?
I have a JOHN DEERE buddy in Moundridge KS.
I will give a shout next time I am heading there.
The SS 396 Chevelle illness is now up to 9.
4 converts all 1968's
3 hardtops 2 1968 and 1 1969
2 El Caminos. both 1968

To any that know SS Chevelles 1968 was the last year the VIN verified it was an SS 396.
She says I need counseling!!!

My appreciation only applies to original equipment. I have no use whatsoever for reproductions.
