Nancy Matthews and Vicki Wilmer and their crew made the sit-down's a blast. And from the National Club, Carolyn Bounds, John McBurney, and a dude named Ken something-or-other, did an equal amount of effort. The host hotel staff meshed with the organizers in a flawless way. People like your crew that hauled over here made it fun for us.

Worthy causes will be beneficiaries of the success of the meet, I predict!
Jeff, you are very kind and I appreciate that about you, but I must correct a couple of things. I never worked so hard, mostly just ran my mouth at the dinners, I am into my 5th year as president and I had 3 vehicles on the field and Michael had 2. As you stated, everyone came together to make a great meet and we were highly complemented by the hotel management because all the participants were so neat and trash wasn't an issue and everyone was always smiling and friendly. We did have one complaint that the hotel rooms didn't have enough coffee in them. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all.

I didn't mean to leave anyone out. The hotel did a fantastic job as you stated. The staff was very good. When I called Sunday evening to tell them I was broke down in Morgantown, WV I was just letting them know I would not be checking in that evening and I would be there Monday. In other words don't let my rooms go. The lady at the desk offered to not charge me for a room Sunday evening, no cancellation fee and she would save my reservations for the rest of the week! I didn't ask for that or expect it but I was blown away by her generous offer. A job well done by everyone.

This might help....but the number on this ticket might be for my picture. Their website may be able to help you though.

I just Googled their website http://whatanimpression.com/photocar...hp?category=12 then clicked on "Ford V-8 Eastern National Meet" pictures, found my car, copied it into my picture files and posted it here. Of course it does have proof written across front of picture because they would like to make $$'s on this deal .

I was happy to get through inspection. They had a flashlight to see if my headlights were on. I had the original 1940 bulbs. Taillights on the 40 can be trouble hard to see if they are on doing daylight.

Hi Everyone. As usual I'm making mistakes. One I just caught was I misspelled Nancy's last name, I've fixed it, it's Mattheu and I had Matthews.

At $25 for a digital file in full resolution, I think I'll be taking a pass on that offer but it's nice to see the cars!

Thanks appreciate the replies. Good way for those who couldn't make the show to see cars that were present. I'm thinking of purchasing the photo(T shirts sound reasonable?).. Because if no one purchased photographs there will be no photographer at future events. Just a thought.

Craig, I hear you. The photos were taken by the same crew working the Ops Check station, the NoVa RG96 volunteers http://www.nvrg.org/ They used the camera of whatanimpression.

Thanks a bunch for sharing your photos, for bringing your car, and for being a Judge.

VeryTangled, Thanks for the kind words, it was my pleasure. You made my day with the news of the upcoming event for 2017, I heard it wasn't verified until now.
Quoted in link above: In 2017 we will host the Eastern National Meet June 7-11 in Chantilly , VA . Information will be posted soon.
